With over 27 years of experience in the motorsports safety industry, Matt Ray is a recognized leader and innovator in the field. A native of Mooresville, North Carolina—the heart of American motorsports—Matt’s passion for safety began in 1998 when he entered the polyurethane foam industry after completing college and working briefly in another profession.
Since then, he has dedicated his career to developing advanced foam products designed to enhance driver safety across motorsports and a variety of other industries. Many of his innovations have become industry standards and are utilized worldwide.
Today, Matt continues to lead the way in safety advancements through ongoing research, development, and testing, ensuring his products evolve alongside the ever-changing demands of the industry.

Seat Insert Kits
Designed for ease and optimal performance, IFS foam seat kits are the latest easy to use foam seat kits on the market! Our kits feature a uniquely slow rise rate—giving drivers more time to achieve the correct seating position before the foam sets. Along with the slower rise rate, IFS foam does not create the pressure against the driver as other seat kits do. This significantly reduces the risk of the driver being pushed out of position, resulting in a more accurate and comfortable fit. This makes our kits ideal for even first-time users.
